The Blue Ocean Sangha is a lay Buddhist community that practices mindfulness by following the teachings of Vietnamese Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. We provide a resource for study and practice of Applied Buddhism (which means applying the teachings to our daily lives). People of all faiths are welcome and encouraged to continue practicing in their root spiritual traditions if so desired.
We meet every Sunday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. for Sitting and Walking Meditation, a Dharma teaching and sharing at the Miami Life Center in South Beach (736 6th St., 33139). Metered parking is available. Although blankets and chairs are provided, feel free to bring your preferred sitting meditation arrangement.
