This is It!
In this very moment it is possible to already begin practicing mindful smiling with the Blue Ocean Sangha. We are a lay Buddhist community that practices the art of mindful living by following the teachings of Vietnamese Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh.
We provide a resource for study and practice of Applied Buddhism, which means that we apply Buddhist teachings to our daily lives in order to learn to be peaceful and not allow life to drift away without meaning. People of all faiths are welcomed and, in fact, encouraged to continue practicing in their root spiritual traditions if they so desire.
We meet for Sitting and Walking Meditation, a Dharma teaching and Dharma sharing at two locations. Metered parking is available. Blankets and chairs are provided but feel free to bring your preferred sitting meditation arrangement.
- Every Sunday evening from 6 to 8 PM at the Miami Life Center in South Beach (736 6th St., 33139), and
- Every first and second Wednesday evening from 7:30 to 9:30 PM at the Regency Health Resort and Spa in Hollywood (101 N Ocean Dr., 33019).
